Instructions for Guidance Counselors on How To Approve Students.


New Jersey Virtual School  delivers quality, online instruction to high school and middle school students in grades 6 – 12.

Every NJVS student is assigned a highly-qualified New Jersey certified teacher who interacts with the student and parent, providing extra help and encouragement to assist the student to successfully complete the course. Most courses and electives are available at standard, remedial and honors levels. Instructional pace levels can also be modified by the teacher to accommodate different learners.

  • Spring Break
    NJVS offices will have a half-day on Thursday 4/5/12 and will be closed beginning
    Friday 4/6/12 until Monday 4/16/12. Our courses and websites will still be available during this time.

  • March 1, 2012 - Summer Registration
    Registration for summer courses will not be open until June.  Please check back with us on June 20, 2012!

  • November Maintenance Window
    The November Maintenance window is scheduled for Sunday, November 27, 2011, between 1:00am and 7:00am ET. Impact to End Users: Desire2Learn’s servers will be unavailable during the maintenance window.
